Dear colleagues and emeriti,
Today marks the official launch of Dartmouth’s annual Granite United Way campaign, a time for us to come together to make a meaningful difference in our community and support our neighbors in need.
For more than 50 years, Dartmouth has proudly partnered with Granite United Way to strengthen local nonprofit agencies addressing critical issues such as mental health, housing, childcare, and financial stability. Last year, our community raised over $222,000 and contributed many volunteer hours. Thank you to everyone who donated funds, items, or time. Your generosity continues to make a real impact across the Upper Valley and beyond.
Ways to Get Involved:
GIVE. Dartmouth is committed to helping your generosity go even further. New for 2025, Dartmouth will now cover all administrative and support service costs so 100% of your gift will directly support vital community programs and services.
- Contribute through payroll deduction, or as a one-time donation. Every gift helps, no matter the amount. The payroll deduction deadline is Dec. 11 (you must re-select the payroll deduction each year). Importantly, you may designate your gift to any nonprofit agency, program, or focus area you care about, including those in the community in which you live.
- Use your Volunteer Time Off day to give back to a cause you care about.
CONNECT. Attend an upcoming campaign event and join fellow colleagues in amplifying our collective impact.
- Community of Giving Reception: Nov. 17 from 4–6 p.m., Top of the Hop
To thank our Dartmouth community for giving back, please stop by the Top of the Hop to enjoy snacks and refreshments, explore the newly renovated Hopkins Center, connect with others, and learn more about how your donation makes a positive impact on our community. - Dine United Events: Take the day off from cooking and gather your friends and family to support a great cause. 25% of your purchase will be donated to Granite United Way at “Dine United” events.
- Nov. 5 from 11 a.m.–9 p.m.: Ramunto’s in Hanover (dine in/take out only; you must specify you are part of the “Dine United” event at time of purchase)
- Nov. 13 from 8 a.m.–3:15 p.m.: Joe’s Bistro at Tuck
We’re grateful to be part of a community that cares deeply about giving back. We invite you to join us in this year’s campaign so, together, we can continue supporting our neighbors.
With gratitude,
