Dear faculty and staff,
You are invited to attend two panel discussions over the coming weeks where leaders will share information and answer questions about Dartmouth’s approach to AI, campus safety, this year’s budget cycle, recent federal administrative actions, and other timely subjects. We hope you will consider joining us for one or both events.
Panel on AI at Dartmouth
Friday, Jan. 16, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Loew Auditorium at BVAC. Speakers will include:
- Santiago Schnell, Provost
- Adam Breuer, Co-chair of the Faculty Leadership Group on AI and chair of its Research Subcommittee
- Peter Chin, Co-chair of the Faculty Leadership Group on AI and chair of its 70th Anniversary Events Subcommittee
- Roopika Risam, Chair of the Education and Pedagogy Subcommittee of the Faculty Leadership Group on AI
You can submit questions in advance of this panel to help ensure we make the most of our time together.
Winter Term Town Hall
Thursday, Feb. 5, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Cook Auditorium. Speakers will include:
- Sian Leah Beilock, President
- Scott Frew, Chief Financial Officer
- Josh Keniston, Senior Vice President for Operations
- Susan Ellison, Director of the Office of Visa and Immigration Services
You can also submit questions in advance of this event. These panels will be in-person only to ensure everyone feels comfortable asking questions and providing as much information on a topic as is available.
Dartmouth leaders will also continue to share information this term through community messages and in faculty governance venues like the Committee on Priorities, Faculty of Arts and Sciences meeting, the Council on Computing, and the Committee of Chairs.
Best wishes,
Jennifer Rosales
